  • Are there babysitting services available?
  • Babysitting services can be provided by a local company called Little Lovelies. We trust their professionalism and can recommend them to look after your little one.

  • Are there self-service laundry facilities in the hotel?
  • We have a guest laundry room with washing machines and dryers which are free to use. washing powder can be purchased at reception. Alternatively, Hyde Park Inn offers professional external guest laundry or dry cleaning services at a cost. Items brought to reception before 10am will be returned the following day (Mon-Friday only)

  • Is this a non-smoking hotel?
  • Yes, however Level 14 is a dedicated smoking floor which allows guests to smoke on the balcony. Please do not smoke in the room or in the corridor as this will trigger the fire alarm. Fire Brigade call out fees may apply.

  • Do we have a minibar in the room?
  • No, we do not provide minibar stock in the rooms. Fridges provided in all rooms and are for your convenience only. Bottle shops, supermarkets and convenience stores are close to teh hotel.

  • Do you have a car park and how much does it cost?
  • Yes, we have a underground car park with the entrance off Elizabeth St. Car parking is complimentary for one car, per room booked. This must be pre-booked prior to arrival due to limited availability. Car park clearance is 1.9m high and car keys are to be left at reception.

  • What if the onsite car parking is booked out?
  • When the onsite car parking is booked out, we offer complimentary parking vouchers for offsite parking at Goulburn Street Secure Parking. This is located one block from the hotel on the corner of Elizabeth St and Goulburn St (Approx. 3 minute walk). Vouchers are valid for ONE ENTRY AND ONE EXIT ONLY and height restrictions apply (1.98m).

  • How can I arrange transport to and from the airport?
  • With our prime location, several options are available. We can assist with bookings to the airport

    1) Taxi – approximately $45-$60+ depending on traffic conditions and time of day.
    2) Maxi Taxi (4 or more travellers) – a 50% surcharge applies on all Maxi Taxi bookings
    3) Train from Domestic ($17.40 per person) and International ($18.00) Airport terminals – this is recommended. For more information, please visit
    4) Airport Shuttle – can be booked at airport approximately $18.00 per person

  • What is the best form of transport to use throughout the city?
  • There are multiple ways to make your way around Sydney CBD Museum Station is conveniently located across from the hotel which operates around the City Circle. You can ride the bus from many stops on Elizabeth & Liverpool Street. Opal cards are a requirement to use this transport and can be purchased from any supermarket or convenience store (children & seniors’ cards available). This can be pre-loaded in store and must be tapped on and off from your destination. Our advice; take a stroll and soak in the atmosphere of this amazing city and make sure to sit back and relax on the grass at the iconic Hyde Park.

  • How do I get to the Central station?
  • The Museum Railway Station is diagonally opposite to the hotel with trains departing regularly to and from Central station (1 stop from platform 2). Otherwise, take a 10 minute stroll down Pitt Street and do some shopping before heading to the station.

  • How much does it cost for an additional person / rollaway?
  • The hotel offers rollaway bedding at $16.50 per person per night. Budget studio rooms and deluxe rooms cannot accommodate a rollaway bed. The additional bedding must be requested at the time of booking due to limited availability.
    Maximum occupancy does apply for all room types. Be sure to speak with our reservations team for more information.

  • What can I do if I want to check-in early and check-out late?
  • Early check in can be requested at the time of reservation however this cannot be guaranteed. Alternatively, it’s free to leave your luggage with our reception team before you check-in or after your check-out.
    Long term storage is available provided you have a future reservation with us.

  • Is Hyde Park Inn a wheelchair accessible hotel?
  • Yes – with level street access and lift to all floors including the car park, the Hyde Park inn is a very accessible hotel. We have two wheelchair accessible room on level 2 in the standard category.

  • Do you have free high speed Wi-Fi?
  • Yes, all guests can enjoy unlimited Wi-Fi on multiple devices.

  • What is your check-in and check-out time?
  • Check in time is from 1pm onwards and check out time is 10am. If you arrive and your room is not ready, we are happy to store your luggage.
